Polaroid Corporation, as we knew it, may cease to exist in its former form. However, a number of its products continue to carry a solid customer backing and, as such, Megatech remains committed in supporting these products.

Since Polaroid ceased manufacturing of its popular commercial film in 2008, film volumes on the market have gradually depleted.

Imaging Product Services – located in Holland, a provider of Polaroid ID card printers and supplies for the Dutch market, and made up of former Polaroid employees – has taken up the task of re-manufacturing Polaroid film on the portrait camera side, such as the popular C3000 paper.

The C3000 paper, in particular, is slated for a return in late July / early August this year. Megatech will remain committed to keeping you informed about the return of this ever so popular film over coming weeks.

The Impossible Project – started in late 2008 by 10 former Polaroid employees – took over one of the old Polaroid plants in Holland with what seemed to be an impossible plan to recreate Polaroid's instant film.

Within a year, The Impossible Project succeeded in doing just this, and has already started reproducing and selling instant film for use in a number of Polaroid cameras:
