By: Kristen Hamilton, Marketing Manager, Megatech Integrated Services Ltd. | June 18, 2012 – On June 7, 2012 the ISRRT World Congress and CAMRT commenced its annual three-day conference, opening its doors to hundreds of professionals within the medical industry from around the world at the Sheraton Centre in Toronto.

The conference and trade show catered to a variety of medical personnel, ranging from technologists, radiologists, clinic managers, medical professors and students, and various health associations.

Once a year, ISRRT debuts the most advanced imaging technology catering to technologists, and used by hospitals and medical facilities around the world. Megatech had the opportunity to showcase some of the brand new medical monitors from EIZO’s RadiForce line of display products.

 

EIZO's Newest Releases

Most noteable in the lineup, we featured the brand new and unreleased RX340 – a 3MP colour diagnostic monitor with the latest in proprietary technology from EIZO – Integrated Front Sensor, Hybrid Gamma, Digital Uniformity Equalizer (DUE), Quick Brightness Stabilization, and a number of EcoView energy saving options.

 

We also showcased the GX530 – EIZO's brand new 5MP mammography monitor – in a dual head setup. Both solutions were set up as separate workstations, and were coupled with EIZO's MX240W clinical review monitor to show the benefits of using a 24" monitor as a modality work list solution.

 

Ideal Mammography Workflow Solution

Along with the exciting new RadiForce monitors, Megatech also showcased a software solution: by Three Palm Software called WorkstationOne – a unique, versatile and easy-to-use mammography workflow solution, and was used in conjunction with the dual head GX530 monitors. Chili PACS software was used to operate on the RX340 monitor.

Megatech met technologists, radiologists, professors and students throughout the three-day show. We showcased EIZO's new products both to professionals who already knew of EIZO's esteemed name in image quality and newcomers to the EIZO brand. In both groups, the feedback was overwhelming on the side of EIZO's superb image quality and technological features that make these monitors an essential in healthcare facilities.

EIZO is rapidly becoming the standard in medical display solutions worldwide, and for us at Megatech, it was an enjoyable experience to share it with everyone that attended and participated at ISRRT World Congress and CAMRT Annual General Conference 2012.This will be the first of many trade shows Megatech will be participating in featuring EIZO’s products.
